Fly540 (Tanzania) Ltd. is an Aviation Company that has been in operation since 29th May 2008. Our head office is located on Samora Avenue opposite Tanesco and after Steers Restaurant.
We have been operating flights between Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar, Arusha and Dar es Salaam. In January 2011 we expanded our network by launching direct flights from Dar es Salaam to Mwanza. We started with 2 daily flights – one in the morning and one in the evening. The flights ware an instant success and within 3 months we increased them to 3 flights a day.
In addition to this, our sister company in Kenya operates daily flights between Nairobi and Kilimanjaro and 7 times a week between Nairobi and Dar es Salaam.
Fly540 Tanzania now intends to start flights between Dar es Salaam and Mtwara on Monday 9th May 2011.
There will be one daily flight everyday from Monday to Friday. The flight will depart Dar es Salaam at 16.30hrs and arrive Mtwara at 17.30hrs. It will then depart Mtwara at 18.00hrs and arrive back in Dar es Salaam at 19.00hrs.
In keeping with our vision to deliver value for money without compromising on safety and quality, we shall operate the 50-seater CRJ Jet aircraft on this route whose flight time will be only 1 hour. Our fares will also be very attractive starting at Tsh. 163,000 one way and Tsh. 236,000 for a round trip, all taxes included.
